Invalys Tours came into being from the GIP in January 2020 after 3 years of collaboration between the Touraine Laboratory and GIP. The Legal entity “·Invalys” was dissolved on 1st Jan 2020 when the Company had acquired the Holding of GIP. GIP had been an active member of the European Network for Plant Taxation (NTP) since its foundation in 2020. The NTP is the European Union’s method for identifying and measuring the quality and quantity of plant-based wastes, also known as biodegradable substances. Touraine has been a strategic partner of GIP since its founding and is currently undertaking several research and development projects based on this database.
